This chapter mainly introduces the audio and video playback methods of the Quectel Pi H1 single board computer.
Preparation work
Refer to Display Configuration to connect the display screen
Refer to Audio Configuration to connect speakers or headphones
Audio playback
The Debian system comes pre installed with a VLC player, and you can play audio files by following these steps.
- Open the VLC player
- Click on Media in the upper left corner of the player
- Find the audio file and double-click to play it
Video playback
The Debian system has pre installed the VLC player. Open the file manager and double-click on the video file to play it.
- Click on the corresponding icons one by one to enter the file manager
- Find the video file and double-click to play it
Play using terminal command line
- Dragon Player is the default media player that comes with the Debian system. If Dragon Player is not installed in the system, you can execute the following command to install it.
sudo apt update
- If prompted, please enter your password and wait for the installation to complete. After installing Dragon Player, you can use the following command to open the video:
dragon /path/to/video/file
- Replace "/path/to/video/file" with the actual path and file name of the video you want to play. For example, if your video is located in the Videos folder of the home directory and named "myvideo. mp4", the command would be as follows:
dragon ~/Videos/myvideo.mp4
Regarding the video formats supported by Dragon Player, it can decode any format supported by the FFmpeg library. This includes popular video formats such as MP4, AVI, MKV, WMV, FLV, MOV, etc.
