A USB host is a system or hardware that can control and manage USB devices. It is responsible for providing power, data transfer, and management functions for connected USB devices (such as USB flash drives, keyboards, mice, etc.).
The Quectel Pi M1 smart single-board computer features two standard USB 3.0 Type-A ports, two standard USB 2.0 Type-A ports, and two USB 3.1 Type-C ports. The USB 2.0 ports offer a maximum data transfer rate of 480 Mbps, while the USB 3.1 ports offer a maximum data transfer rate of 5 Gbps.

Function usage
Connect USB flash drive
1.Insert a USB flash drive into the Type-A port.

2.The column displays USB devices.

3.Pull down and expand the notification bar.

4.Click the EXPLORE button to browse the USB drive contents.
