Overview

The EG800Z series is an LTE Cat 1 bis wireless communication module designed by Quectel for M2M and IoT applications. It features an LGA package with a compact form factor, supporting a maximum downlink rate of 10 Mbps and uplink rate of 5 Mbps. With ultra-small dimensions and high cost-effectiveness, the EG800Z series also supports the QuecPython solution for embedded application development.

It supports LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi Scan functionality, and offers a rich set of hardware interfaces, including USB 2.0, UART, PCM, I2C, and ADC, making it suitable for a wide range of IoT applications.
